Buddhism

“Consider this body! A painted puppet with jointed limbs, sometimes suffering and covered with ulcers, full of imaginings, never permanent, forever changing.” The Dhammapada
“The Noble Truth of suffering (Dukkha) is this: birth is suffering; ageing is suffering; sickness is suffering; death is suffering; sorrow and lamentation is suffering; association with the unpleasant is suffering disassociation with the pleasant is suffering; not to get what one wants is suffering – in brief the five aggregates of attachment are suffering.”
“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
